Always we try and evaluate ourselves to determine where we are in conjunction with where we want to be. It is not always a pleasant process but can be very rewarding at times. More over it’s even necessary in many ways. However it can also be very detrimental to our own walks with God. We over examine our trials and struggles thinking its some kind of curse or hurtful event. These events are blessings, even small packages of love wrapped up by a caring Father wishing for us to come into all He has for us. That’s more the spiritual and mental growth then it is lots of items and trinkets. It is a preparation for eternity. And staying eternally minded, with a focus on God and the finish line of Heaven will help us to push through.
One of the quickest ways to extend trials is to refuse to keep an open mind. We can get a Job complex and get into a mindset of “I didn’t deserve this.” Truth is because God loves us, we do deserve it. We learn by doing, and applying spiritual lessons to our lives we are partaking in God’s divine nature. We decrease while He increases, and in the end our lives are fulfilled and our purpose is clear. We keep our focus and Joy of the Spirit and the Love a great Father flows into our lives, and it’s greater then any other experience out there.
The Holy Bible, New King James Version
2 Peter 1: 2-4
“2Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 3as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, 4by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
